LOLART SCHOOL
BLENDED LEARNING-STEM
STEM Program Overview
The STEM program is designed for students who are interested in gaining hands-on research experience across various STEM fields, including Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
The program kicks off with a seminar in the spring semester (STEM Research Part I). This seminar focuses on building the foundational scientific knowledge and analytical skills necessary for a summer internship. Through interactive discussions, students learn how to read primary scientific literature, analyze raw data, and collaborate effectively within a research team.
During the summer, the core of the program unfolds as students are paired with research mentors for full-time, six-week internships. This hands-on experience allows students to immerse themselves in real-world research projects.
In the fall, the program concludes with another seminar (STEM Research Part II). Here, students showcase their summer research by creating a poster presentation and delivering a formal scientific talk.
